You know me and my love of blog series posts! So here’s a new series for y’all! My sister gave me the idea to do a post like this and I figured, “why not make it a regular thing?” This way, when Friday rolls around and we’re all really just ready for the weekend, I can recommend some fun stuff to do, or products to try and voila! A fun blog post for all to enjoy right before the weekend!

Right now, one of my very favorite things is an app called GymPact. Jessica Miller (my soon-to-be sister-in-love), told me about this and I’ve been spreading the word like crazy because it’s just so awesome! Here’s how it works:

-You choose how many days per week you’d like to workout (go to the gym or run/walk outside)

-For every workout you miss, you have to pay $5 to $50 (you choose the amount), but for every workout you finish, you GET $0.50!

-You have to check into a gym for at least 30 minutes or use Runkeeper to track your run for at least 30 minutes

-Your earnings add up and you can cash them in whenever you want!

Pretty cool, right? I mean, if you’re working out anyways, why not earn a little bit of money? And the motivation to not waste money is amazing! I only started out with 2 workouts per week, but I think I’m going to push myself up to 3 or maybe ever 4 once I get back from the beach! I know it seems a little crazy to give your credit card information to an app just to stay motivated to workout, but if that’s what it takes, then I’m down! Pair this with some other awesome workout apps, like Nike Training and Pocket Yoga and you’re ready to get your fitness on! I hope this was helpful for someone out there struggling with workout motivation!
