who*what*when-sday #61

There’s this workshop. It’s called Making Things Happen. It’s led by Lara Casey, editor of Southern Weddings Magazine. Do I really need to say more? Ok maybe I do: Lara is an inspiration to any small business owner and really anyone who wants to change their life and reach their goals. The workshop is a two-day opportunity to learn and meet some amazing people. There are so many things I want to accomplish and sometimes I feel overwhelmed. A workshop like this might be just the help I need to get started on some of the huge plans I have for 2013. Lara is generously offering a chance to win a scholarship to attend the workshop in Chapel Hill in March. If any of you are interested in changing your life, you should enter to win!

Stella has a mischievous streak. She decided that I was not giving her enough treats and took matters into her own hands. She worked very hard and found her way into the cabinet and took some treats hostage. So long story short: I came home to find two very pleased kittens munching away on some cat treats and some of Moose’s treats. Vaughan bought child safety locks for the cabinets. But on the bright side, we’re all set for our future (and I mean FUTURE) kids!

I met with Maureen from Bridal Blooms by Maureen last night and she got me all pumped up about flower arrangements for the wedding! I really didn’t care much about flowers before the meeting, but when she started showing me some of what she does, I couldn’t wait to work with her! We created a Pinterest board (which makes it so much more fun!) to work together to come up with the perfect bouquets and boutonnieres. So being in the flowery spirit, I figured up post some pics of some beauties from my 2012 brides!

Happy Wednesday to all! And to all a good night! :)

PS: I’m so grateful for the feedback I got from Monday’s post! You guys really make me feel like what I’m doing matters! It’s awesome to be reassured every now and then! Thanks so much!!
